How can I improve a weak alarm signal?
The repeater improves signal transmission when the intrusion detection device or sensor is too far from the control panel. Thus, in certain configurations of your environment the signal range can be reduced, thanks to the repeater the range is extended. Indeed, there are disturbances that can deteriorate the strength of your signal such as wood, concrete or any object near your alarm such as microwave interference.
What are the advantages of the wireless repeater?
The repeater is a wireless signal retransmission device. Thanks to this technology, the device captures the signal in the air and makes it possible to strengthen the transmission of information in order to add the most distant peripherals to the alarm center. The wireless repeater is easy to use and is compatible with control panels, detectors … In addition, its LED signal allows you to quickly check at a glance whether the repeater is functioning.
